About the RoleWe are seeking casual Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated clinical team. As a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the professional and effective delivery of clinical care to our residents. You will work in collaboration with care staff and report to the Clinical/Facility Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical care to residents, including medication management and administration.
- Collaborate with care staff to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
- Conduct assessments and implement best practice interventions to achieve positive outcomes for residents, their families, and staff.
- Document all care activities and interventions in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current registration with APHRA as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse.
- A high level of verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent team working skills and ability to work collaboratively with care staff.
- Extensive, recent, residential aged care experience.
- A high level of clinical knowledge and experience, including the ability to guide Personal Care Workers (PCWs).
- Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- The ability to problem-solve medium to high-level complexity issues and know when to escalate.
- A good understanding and ability to interpret AN-ACC continuous improvement, risk management, and Health and Safety.
- A demonstrable working knowledge of the Aged Care Act and accreditation requirements.
- A collaborative and supportive workplace culture.
