About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to manage the development and implementation of key frameworks, safety regulations, and governance systems for electrolysis and corrosion protection.

As a key member of our team, you will drive the creation of Australian Standards, research, and guidelines, and provide critical technical input into NSW and Commonwealth programs.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Electrolysis and Corrosion Protection team to develop and implement key frameworks, safety regulations, and governance systems
  • Collaborate with asset owners, industry committees, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with Corrosion Protection Regulation 2020 and manage enforcement activities
  • Manage safety risks through audits, investigations, and prioritizing regulatory actions
  • Provide technical expertise in electrolysis and corrosion protection systems, or be able to quickly learn

You Will Thrive In This Role If:

  • You have tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, Chemical, Electrical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent qualifications and experience)
  • You have trade qualifications in Electrotechnology, coupled with experience in the utilities or a related industry
