Job Title: Portfolio Community ExecutiveJob Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our KPMGau High Growth Ventures team as a Portfolio Community Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing physical and online communities, working closely with the Head of Portfolio Management and Head of Marketing to execute marketing plans and nurture a portfolio of high-growth startups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Portfolio Management in delivering a best-in-class community experience for clients, owning the community aspect of the portfolio and delivering excellent client experiences.
  • Work closely with the Head of Portfolio Management to provide invaluable sales support across the deal lifecycle.
  • Support the Head of Marketing in delivering a strategic calendar of community events and lifecycle campaigns across Sydney and Melbourne, including pre-content deliverables and post-content wrap-up.
  • Develop a supportive and inclusive environment for founders and coordinate our online portfolio community.
  • Support the development of lead nurture campaigns to attract and retain leading Australian tech startups to the portfolio.
  • Monitor and develop content opportunities for potential case studies of portfolio clients to showcase the breadth of services KPMGau High Growth Ventures offers.
  • Support the development and continued optimization of sales and marketing-related tools and collateral.
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of sales, marketing, community building, or other relevant relationship or account management/Business Development experience.
  • Finance or accounting experience is highly advantageous.
  • Understanding of startup sector trends, issues, needs, and recent developments is highly advantageous, as well as a genuine passion to work with startups.
  • A self-starter with an ability to effectively work cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly developed communication and influencing skills to drive outcomes.
  • Positive attitude and ability to drive collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • A proven ability to create compelling proposals and value propositions, including proficiencies with the tools to develop proposals (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Networking skills - being able to communicate with 300+ portfolio clients.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Hubspot preferred) and use of data in the sales cycle.
  • Experience with LinkedIn account management beneficial.
