XCIRCLE PTY LTD is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson to support our sheet metal manufacturing operations and critical infrastructure business unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare high-quality 2D and 3D CAD models and fabrication drawings using Inventor or other preferred software.
  • Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflows, product quality, and timely delivery.
  • Work onsite with mechanical engineers, trades personnel, and project managers to validate design intent through precise confirmation of dimensions, tolerances, and overall feasibility.
  • Perform site survey and measurement tasks as required.
  • Attend site meetings and inspections to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), revisions, and documentation integrity.
  • Contribute to process improvements across design and manufacturing workflows.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Drafting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Inventor, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of sheet metal manufacturing processes.
  • Minimum 3 years' drafting experience in engineering or manufacturing.
  • Prior experience in critical infrastructure design and drafting is highly desirable.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
