Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design engineering, particularly in gold projects. They must have previous experience working with EPCM / engineering consultancy and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering design engineering for mechanical systems within minerals processing plants. This includes developing detailed design calculations, specifications, and drawings to ensure optimal system performance.

The role also involves conducting feasibility studies and providing engineering solutions to meet project requirements. In addition, the successful candidate will collaborate with cross-engineering teams to develop integrated designs that support efficient plant operations.

This is a contract position with an indicative assignment length of 12 months. The location is Perth, and the company requires the candidate to have the right to work in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for minerals processing plants
  • Conduct feasibility studies and provide engineering solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated designs
  • Deliver detailed design calculations, specifications, and drawings
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4-7 years' experience in design engineering, particularly in gold projects
  • Previous experience working with EPCM / engineering consultancy
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Strong background in mechanical system design
