Job Title: Community Safety Specialist

Our organization is committed to providing exceptional care and support services. This role involves leading a team to enhance safety for women and children in the community.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing strategies to prevent family violence
  • Working with men who perpetrate family violence, promoting positive change and enhancing their capacity for healthy relationships

Requirements include:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work or Psychology, ideally with experience in theories including systems, trauma-informed care, and strength-based frameworks
  • High level of knowledge and understanding of evidence-based practice for working with men who use family violence, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills

This is a permanent full-time position within our Community Services team, working from our Frankston location.
