About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Equipment and Wash Supervisor to join our Brisbane Airport team at dnata catering, Australia's largest and most admired inflight catering and retail partner.

This is a full-time opportunity that requires a high level of organizational and time management skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Equipment & Logistics Manager in managing two sites, ensuring efficient and fast-paced daily operations.
  • Work proactively on daily issues, such as equipment shortages, delivery scheduling, and changing flight schedules.
  • Ensure adequate staff are rostered and cross-trained to complete daily tasks.
  • Ensure all flights are packed accurately according to the Galley Loading Plans (GLP) for flight-ready times.
  • Record temperature of food before delivering products to the Operations department.
  • Ensure that your team, in conjunction with the ULO, meet the Internal Delivery System (IDS) requirements.
  • Ensure all Halal Food procedures are followed.
  • Minimize waste on bulk food and adhere to stock rotation policies in line with the Dnata Catering Food Safety Manual.
  • Set and monitor KPIs for each section Leading Hand.
  • Adhere to the company's policy in relation to HALAL, HACCP, QSAI / Food Safety, Workplace Health and Safety, and customs.
  • Support the ULO in the weekly and monthly stock take for each airline as required.
  • File all documents as per the department's filing and record-keeping system to ensure easy traceability and recovery of documents whenever required.
  • Carry out additional duties as may be reasonably requested by Senior Management.
Requirements
  • Proven knowledge of logistics management and production processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders in a high-volume, high-value environment.
  • Sound knowledge of the airline catering industry.
  • Competent in documentation and records management.
  • Forklift license may be required.
  • Ability to obtain a clear National Police Check.
