Job Title: Governance and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Governance and Compliance Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain risk management frameworks, policies and procedures to ensure ongoing management of risks and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to the advancement of the risk management culture within the organisation by providing support in relation to governance standards and practices.
  • Support the development, implementation and monitoring of key governance projects, such as the development of frameworks, policies and procedures relevant to the Business Assurance team's key functions.
  • Provide high level expert consultancy and advice in relation to governance standards and practices based on best practice.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of or experience in developing and implementing strategic and operational risk management and reporting in a public sector environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse complex policy and program issues and provide accurate and strategic advice.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting other quality and assurance initiatives to ensure compliance with best practice principles.
