Court Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Court Services Victoria. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the public, staff, and judiciary within the court environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals entering the court
- Conduct x-ray screening, use metal detectors, and search individuals for prohibited items
- Perform roving security patrols within and external to the building
- Resolve conflicts and negotiate with individuals as required
- Act as a first responder to any incidents that may occur
- Manage access and control rooms
- Certificate II or III in Security Operations
- Current Victorian security licence
- Current first aid accreditation
