About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the position of Director High Performance. This role will play a key part in shaping and driving sport programs and athlete investment across the VIS.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide leadership and direction enabling coaches, managers, and athletes to fulfill their ultimate potential and high-performance outcomes.
2. Work closely with other similar roles across the national institute network to share knowledge, collaborate, and learn from each other.
3. Develop and implement successful programs in a sport or Institute program, demonstrating a proven knowledge of demands, pressure, and the needs of elite athletes and coaches.
Required Skills & Experience
1. 8+ years experience in developing elite athletes and coaches.
2. Demonstrated experience of working within and supporting a multi-disciplinary approach.
3. Strong verbal and written communications and ability to use Microsoft Office and internet applications.
