About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Team Lead to join our team at WSP Global Inc. in a key role that will drive the success of our mining and infrastructure engineering design projects.

As a Civil Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to deliver high-quality design outcomes that meet client needs, legal requirements, and quality standards.

You will also be responsible for developing strong project-level client relationships, supporting management in implementing market and client strategies, and participating in the development of staff to help them realize their potential.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional experience in a consultancy environment in the area of civil mining infrastructure, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification, and registration as a Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).

Key responsibilities will include managing workloads for a team of civil engineers, developing technical standards and design processes, and building relationships and developing business.

We are looking for a high-quality individual with the right experience in key areas, including project management, study management, and environmental sustainability.

The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills, the ability to work virtually and face-to-face within a team environment, and a commitment to diversity, environment, health, safety, and society.
