We are seeking a Software Development Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. They will also collaborate with designers, product managers and backend developers to translate requirements into functional and intuitive mobile applications.

  • Create robust and maintainable code following best practices, including component reusability and state management.
  • Analyse and optimise the app's performance, including load times, memory usage and battery consumption.
  • Maintain and improve existing features, as well as design and implement new ones.
  • Work closely with our other software development engineers to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, feature parity and consistency across the codebase.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong understanding of JavaScript frameworks and object-oriented design principles.
  • Experience with cross-platform mobile application development using React Native.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies, including agile development and continuous integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
