About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Venue Manager to lead our team at Ryan Mitchell Swim Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the management of our seasonal facility, ensuring exceptional customer experience and delivering operational, financial, and program deliverables for the Summer season.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes. You will also need to have sound knowledge of health and safety legislation, evacuation, and emergency procedures, as well as current CPR and First Aid Certificates.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
  • Excellent communication skills with a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation, evacuation, and emergency procedures
  • Current CPR Certificate (or ability to successfully complete)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2) (or ability to successfully complete)
  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Legal working rights in Australia
  • Poll Lifeguard Certificate (or ability to successfully complete the course)
  • Current Pool Operations Certificate is not essential but highly regarded
