Commercial Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Commercial Planning Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who can effectively translate data into strategic business decisions, has a keen eye for market trends and performance metrics, and is ready to drive growth across the wider organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Owning the financial planning process, shaping budgets, re-forecasting plans, and driving performance across sales, profit, GMROI, and stockturn.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure every decision is backed by insight, aligned to customer-centric strategies, and built for expansion.
  • Leading the development and implementation of range architecture and assortment strategies, promotional and clearance financial outcomes, clustering and inventory efficiency initiatives, and category-level commercial planning and risk mitigation.

Key requirements include:

  • Proven experience in commercial planning (retail or similar environment).
  • Financial and budget management, including ownership of OTB.
  • Tactical experience managing sales, profit, stock, and inventory health.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with commercial planning systems and analytical tools.
