Senior Water Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator
Description
We are seeking a highly experienced treatment plant operator to lead our water and wastewater team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Council's water, wastewater, and recycled water treatment plants.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example and guide a dedicated team to maintain critical infrastructure
- Provide hands-on mentoring and support to staff and trainees
- Maintain adherence to regulatory, health, environmental and safety requirements
Requirements
- Certificate III in Water Industry Treatment or equivalent
- Demonstrated extensive working knowledge of water and wastewater treatment operations
- Proven experience in supervision and training of staff
- Demonstrated good communication skills, both oral and written
