Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled Financial Crime Remediation Specialist to join our team.

This role will be responsible for the successful remediation of various critical customer data and providing support to other teams and the wider program.

As a key member of our KYC Remediation Operations team, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to drive execution and alignment to our strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking completion of KYC remediation, refresh, and ongoing customer due diligence for customers with the review of valid identification documentation.
  • Liaising with frontline staff to ensure KYC information is updated when the customer has provided identification documentation in branch.
  • Identifying and assessing risks which could prevent you from achieving the objectives of your role.
  • Ensuring timely and effective resolution and response of customer complaints in a professional manner.

  • A risk mindset and ability to critically review processes and make pragmatic recommendations to address control gaps and weaknesses.
  • Effective customer service, stakeholder management, and negotiating skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Computer literacy.
