About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead and develop our training programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, facilitating, and evaluating the development of specific training needs in conjunction with relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide subject matter expertise and influence in the identification and facilitation of training needs, ensuring alignment with organisational requirements.
  2. Lead and mentor the education team, developing strategic plans and initiatives to drive employee growth and development.
  3. Oversee nursing workforce activities, including Grad Start, School Based Trainees, and Clin Connect, to ensure seamless integration and effective learning outcomes.
  4. Report mandatory training statistics to senior management and national learning teams, providing critical insights into staff development.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current Authority to Practice and post-registration nursing or education qualification relevant to clinical area.
  • Demonstrated experience in education program development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation for a healthcare facility.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of clinical practice in an acute care setting, with a commitment to ongoing self-development and professional growth.
  • Strong understanding of educational quality standards, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Competence in using complex software programs and learning management systems.
  • Able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
