About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Power Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive design services, including the development of new projects and refurbishment of existing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive design services, including the development of new projects and refurbishment of existing projects.
- Emphasis on hydropower and pumped storage engineering projects.
- Hydraulic and structural design and analysis.
- Design of underground cavern and waterways.
- Construction support and supervision.
- Electro-mechanical and hydro-mechanical design of conventional hydropower and pumped storage.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering.
- Strong experience in hydropower engineering, in particular with an emphasis on civil, hydraulics, structural, and geotechnical / rock mechanics disciplines (5-8 years).
- Investigation and design of hydropower and pumped storage schemes.
- Planning, development, feasibility studies and implementation of hydropower and pumped storage projects.
- Experience or knowledge of hydrology would be an advantage.
