The Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as an Individual Care Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of older adults.
In this role, you will provide personal care and support to individuals in their own homes or in aged care facilities. You will assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
You will also be responsible for promoting independence and dignity amongst your clients, providing emotional support and companionship, and assisting with light domestic duties and transport to appointments and social activities.
What You Will Learn:
- Supporting older adults with personal care needs
- Assisting with daily living activities
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Promoting independence and dignity amongst older adults
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing)
- Warm and respectful communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check and required clearances
