Are you looking for a challenging role where you can leverage your technical expertise to drive the design and implementation of secure Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions? This Cyber Security Architect position is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled professional to lead strategic IAM architecture initiatives within a high-impact infrastructure program.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and architecting secure IAM solutions aligned with best practices and compliance standards. You will work closely with IT, security, and business teams to ensure that IAM systems meet regulatory and organizational requirements while supporting operational goals.About the Role

This is a mid-senior level contract role commencing shortly. As a Cyber Security Architect, you will lead the development of system architecture diagrams including data flows, network topologies, and security controls. You will also conduct security risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies, define and maintain IAM security policies, standards, and guidelines, and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, and internal policies.

Additionally, you will provide technical guidance across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and mentor junior security professionals. You will implement security controls such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Single Sign-On (SSO). You will also evaluate and select IAM technologies based on security and scalability, support incident response, digital forensics, and security testing activities, and drive continuous improvement of IAM security posture and processes.

Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years in IAM, with 3+ years in security architecture or consulting.
  • Proven experience designing and optimizing IAM solutions in large-scale environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across IT, security, and business teams.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with IAM platforms such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta.
  • Familiarity with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) tools and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and audit readiness.

Required Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of IAM security principles and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, COBIT).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
