Endoscopy Nurse

This is a challenging and rewarding role that will see you providing care for patients within general surgical areas.

As an integral team member, you will support the general function of the unit using best practice principles and education, whilst drawing upon your extensive surgical experience.

Responsibilities include achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care, demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures, and providing quality care to patients undergoing Endoscopy and minor procedures.

Pre-/intra-, and post-procedure care are all part of this role. You will work within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with other health professionals in the delivery of healthcare, including preparing patients for discharge.

The ideal candidate is committed to continuous quality improvement and adheres to risk management guidelines. A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to model and promote our hospital's values are essential.

To be successful in this position, you will need current registration with AHPRA, previous procedural endoscopy experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. We also value a strong patient-service focus and demonstrated commitment to continued service improvement.
