As a medical professional working with the Australian Defence Force (ADF), you will provide essential medical care and support to ADF members. This role requires flexibility, commitment, and availability to be called in to backfill sick leave or planned leave on short notice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert primary medical care to ADF personnel in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Deliver patient-centred, holistic care alongside a multidisciplinary team.
- Assess fitness for duty and support health before and after deployments.
- Offer critical medical advice to Joint Health Command leadership.
- Australian Citizenship required for Baseline Security Clearance.
- General registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Fellowship with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or Vocational Registration.
- At least 2 years of GP experience in the last 5 years.
- Recent Continuing Professional Development participation aligned with AHPRA requirements.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification.
