Job Overview

The Star Gold Coast has undergone significant evolution since 2014, with a mission to create memorable experiences at trusted destinations. The company delivers an unparalleled experience across its venues, including The Star Grand, The Darling, and Dorsett Hotel.

Culinary experiences are offered at award-winning venues such as Nineteen at The Star, Kiyomi, and Mei Wei, with entertainment from live concerts, theatre, events centre, outdoor live on the lawn events, and DJ sets at Atrium Bar.

The venue blends relaxation with high-energy entertainment.

To ensure seamless execution of operational requirements, we seek an experienced leader who can provide guidance and direction.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive leadership experience within high-end Food & Beverage environments. They should be able to identify and drive additional revenue opportunities, communicate effectively with diverse guests and team members, and exhibit strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the operational requirements of the venue
  • Lead the selection, training, and development of team members
  • Maintain a guest focus in all services
  • Assist with business plan development and implementation
  • Implement strategies for repeat guests and positive guest experiences
  • Communicate and implement quality service standards policies and procedures
What We Are Looking For
  • Extensive leadership experience in high-end Food & Beverage environments
  • Ability to drive revenue opportunities and effective communication
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and leadership abilities
  • Highly organised and accountable with attention to detail
  • Accreditation in responsible service of alcohol - RMLV/Approved Manager an advantage
