The Role

We currently have an opportunity to join our Finance team as a Manager, IT Audit in a permanent position.

This opportunity is open to work from our Melbourne office in conjunction with our hybrid work from home options.

Purpose of the IT Audit Function

The purpose of the IT Audit function is to provide independent and objective assurance to Senior Management, the Board and the Audit Committee on the effectiveness of MLCL's risk management, control and governance processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, execute and report on IT audits, IT project assurance reviews and integrated audits, in accordance with the department's audit methodology and professional standards.
  • Function as a key player in determining audit scopes, executing audit testing, identifying and evaluating risks and control deficiencies.
  • Prepare high quality audit findings and recommendations.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to audit stakeholders.
  • Document audit workpapers, in accordance with the department's audit methodology.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with functional heads.
  • Have a good understanding of the external environment and regulatory standards.
  • Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified.
