Sales Merchandise Specialist

Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of farmers? We are looking for a Sales Merchandise Specialist to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop strong customer relationships and provide a memorable experience for all customers. You will be responsible for performing general administrative tasks, assisting customers with pricing and product queries, maintaining safety processes, and assisting with merchandise campaign material.
About this role:
Key Responsibilities- Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, banking, receipting, and dispatching of goods.
- Assisting customers with pricing and product queries and processing counter sales.
- Maintaining safety processes.
- Assisting with merchandise campaign material.
About You:
Requirements- Previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment.
- A passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise.
- Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships.
- A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly.
- A current driver's license is essential.
- Forklift licence desirable, but not essential.
