Job Opportunity: Sales Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Sales Support Specialist to provide exceptional customer service, manage vendor and purchaser accounts, and participate in sales and marketing initiatives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer all aspects of livestock transactions, including advertising, preparation of on-farm sales materials, signage, brochures, and ad-hoc collateral.
  • Coordinate national livestock identification system transfers, ensuring compliance procedures are followed.
  • Provide professional and timely customer service to existing and prospective clients.
  • Manage vendor and purchaser accounts relevant to all livestock transactions.
  • Participate in sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Handle livestock-related enquiries to saleyards and surrounding regions.
  • Collect and process livestock reports, sharing with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support ad hoc livestock activities as needed.
  • Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a support role in a busy environment.
  • A passion for Australian farming and agriculture.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • A current and clean full driver's license.
