Academic Director of Professional Experience

We are seeking an exceptional teacher and active researcher to lead professional experience in our initial teacher education (ITE) programs as Academic Director of Professional Experience. The successful candidate will have experience supporting students during professional experience, teach courses with a professional experience component, and pursue high-quality research in a relevant field.
Key Responsibilities:- Teaching: Develop and deliver courses in ITE programs, engage in curriculum design, coordinate courses, assess students, provide academic counselling, and adhere to university teaching rules.
- Research: Establish and develop a research program, collaborate on research projects, seek and manage research funding, publish in reputable journals, and participate in project discussions.
- Citizen and Service: Support students on placement, coordinate professional experience activities, develop partnerships, and demonstrate leadership through mentoring.
