Academic Director of Professional Experience

We are seeking an exceptional teacher and active researcher to lead professional experience in our initial teacher education (ITE) programs.
The successful candidate will have experience supporting students during professional experience, teach courses with a professional experience component, and pursue an agenda of high-quality research in a relevant field.
- Teaching: Develop and deliver courses in initial teacher education programs, engage in curriculum design, and contribute to accreditation processes.
- Research: Establish and develop a research program, collaborate on research projects, and publish in reputable journals.
- Supervision and Researcher Development: Supervise honours and HDR students, provide performance feedback and training, and ensure correct remuneration and benefits.
- Citizenship and Service: Support students on placement, coordinate professional experience activities, and develop partnerships.
