About This Role">

The Commission is an independent statutory body dedicated to promoting improvement in policies and practices affecting the safety and wellbeing of Victorian children and young people.

Our focus is on vulnerable children and young people, with a particular emphasis on regulatory oversight and support for flexible working models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Inquiries and System Reform team, ensuring clear responsibilities, managed performance, and delivered outcomes.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure inquiries are conducted efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide quality assurance across team work, ensuring all reports, correspondence, and documentation meet high standards.
  • Conduct inquiries, allocate resources, and manage timelines to deliver results.
  • Develop reports and inquiry documentation in a contemporary and accessible style.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
