Job description

The role of Manager, Inquiries and System Reform involves leading a team with specialist skills in inquiries.

Our work focuses on improving state systems for vulnerable children and young people.

This involves collecting information and data, conducting analysis of policies, legislation, service provision and systems.

Developing options for reform, formulating recommendations, and writing clear, succinct and compelling reports are all part of this role.

You will lead staff in preparing timely, high quality reports.

Leading relationships with stakeholders and review recipients is also key to this role.

This includes advocating for the rights and wellbeing of children and young people.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the Inquiries and System Reform team.
  • Lead the development of processes and procedures to ensure inquiries are undertaken efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide quality assurance across the work of the team.
  • Lead and conduct inquiries, including the allocation of resources and managing timelines.

About you

You will have proven people and project management skills.

An understanding of inquiries methodology and strong stakeholder skills are essential.

Able to influence in complex operational environments, you will be successful in this role.
