Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at Marque Bar and Grill. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading a passionate team, and delivering outstanding service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operations Management: Ensure smooth and efficient daily floor operations of the restaurant and bar.
  2. Financial Management: Manage the day-to-day profitability, presentation, and operation of the restaurant and bar.
  3. Marketing and Promotions: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's food and beverage features to promote to clients.
  4. Team Leadership: Managing, leading, and motivating staff to ensure a high-performing team culture is maintained.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Chef, Hotel Manager, and marketing department to develop marketing material and promotions for Marque Bar and Grill.
  6. Rostering: Roster according to department needs.
  7. Financial Performance: Create budgets and monitor financial performance of the restaurant.

Qualifications

  • Managerial Experience: A minimum of two years of managerial experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Possession of a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing staff, with a strong ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Revenue-Generating Strategies: Expertise in generating and implementing innovative revenue-building strategies.
  • Beverage Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of alcoholic beverages.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer Service: Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Self-Motivation: High level of self-motivation, confidence, and initiative.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility and availability to work evenings, weekends, and other peak periods as required.
