About the Role

This role is responsible for coordinating and managing data privacy governance activities across various departments. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a privacy-focused role, be familiar with Australian Privacy Principles, and possess strong problem-solving skills.

  • Coordinate Privacy Governance Forum agendas, meetings, and actions
  • Develop quarterly privacy management reports and insights
  • Oversee the lifecycle of digital information generated or collected during business operations
  • Support the design, management, monitoring, and maintenance of customer data models
  • Advise internal data owners on privacy processes related to personal information collection, storage, and disposal
  • Manage the Privacy Inbox, ensuring timely responses to enquiries

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, management, law, or risk
  • Understanding of the Australian Privacy Act (1988) and its principles
  • Experience working in a privacy function, including data management practices and responding to enquiries
