Gate Automation Specialist

Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 per year

This role involves the installation, maintenance and repair of automated gates and fencing systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Installation of gate motors, remote controls, intercoms and access controls.
  • Servicing and repairing existing automation systems.
  • Diagnosing technical problems and determining corrective actions.
  • Low voltage electrical work.
  • Wiring, cabling and connections.
  • Attending call-outs and providing assessments to the office.

Experience and skills required for this position include:

  • Proven experience in installation and maintenance of automatic gate motors and access controls.
  • Experience with electric hand tools such as drills and angle grinders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients, deliver superior service and carry out quality workmanship.
  • Basic welding experience.
  • Possession of a current manual driver's license.
  • Police clearance.
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
