Electrical Engineering Professional Job Summary

The Service Technician plays a vital role in supporting all direct and indirect revenue-generating activities, contributing to the growth of Safety Service/System business, Services, and Customer Project Management Service offerings. This is achieved through providing required Service/Systems design, installation, and commissioning.

We require a tertiary-qualified electrical engineering professional with at least 2 years of experience. The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge and be able to deliver customer expectations as defined in technical specifications pertaining to jobs, including installations and checks on systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver customers' expectations by installing and checking systems.
  • Create drawings and diagrams, providing material and service cost support to other departments and customers.
  • Calculate test performance and engineering based on safety standards for customers, contractors, and integrators.
  • Provide technical input to projects and design regarding safety regulatory and standard requirements.
  • Assist research and experimentation in systems and products.
  • Participate in local and overseas travel to support business requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent certifications.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with industrial machines or machine building, including switching and control systems.
  • Preferred experience with industrial safety control systems, industrial technology products (e.g., PLC, switching & control, safety systems).
  • High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Able to liaise and engage with stakeholders at various levels, both internal and external customers.
  • Flexible to work autonomously or collaborate within a team environment.
