OSHC Director and Service Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to lead our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service in [location]. As an OSHC Director and Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children, while also managing the day-to-day operations of the service.
About the Role- Manage and supervise a team of educators to ensure the delivery of quality programs and services;
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports, attendance records, and staff performance management;
- Collaborate with local schools and community organizations to promote the service and build relationships;
- Ensure the provision of a safe and inclusive environment for all children and staff;
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet the needs of the service;
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of programs and services, making recommendations for improvement;
- You have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or a related field;
- You have previous experience in a leadership role within the childcare industry, preferably as an OSHC director or manager;
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and external stakeholders;
- You are committed to providing high-quality care and education to children, and are passionate about ensuring their safety and well-being;
- You are self-motivated and able to work independently, with minimal supervision;
- You are willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check and a First Aid in a Childcare Setting qualification;
- Estimated salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience;
