Senior Green Space Leader

This is a leadership role that involves overseeing the maintenance of high-profile gardens.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and train junior staff to enhance their skills and safety practices
  • Conduct hands-on work including mowing, pruning, hedge trimming, weeding, mulching, planting, and general garden care
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within set deadlines
  • Safely operate and maintain tools, machinery, and vehicles
  • Provide regular progress reports to management
  • Identify and treat pests and diseases in the garden
  • Main tain high horticultural standards and attention to detail
Requirements:
  • A certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens, or relevant equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize tasks and develop junior team members
  • Sound practical experience with a range of tools and equipment
  • A current driver's license is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
