Nurse Educator Opportunities at Auburn Hospital

As a Nurse Educator Level 2, you will be responsible for overseeing nursing and midwifery education, including managing the Gradstart Program and facility-delivered education and training programs within Auburn Hospital and Community Health Services.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and culturally diverse environment, offering a range of medical, surgical, maternity, and emergency services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead nursing and midwifery education at Auburn Hospital
  • Collaborate with leaders across WSLHD and beyond
  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate education programs aligned with learner needs, achieving outcomes

Requirements:
  • Qualifications: As per the Public Health Systems Nurses' and Midwives (State) Award, a Nurse Educator Grade 2 is a Registered Nurse/Midwife with relevant clinical or education post-registration qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
  • Registration: Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
