Disability Support Barista

'Where is my Coffee' is a social enterprise cafe providing innovative support for individuals with disabilities to develop job skills and independence. We're seeking an experienced barista to join our team as a Disability Support Worker, working closely with the Cafe Community Team Leader.
Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
- Mentor and support trainees in developing their barista and customer service skills, promoting confidence and independence.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient cafe operations, maintaining high standards of food and beverage presentation and preparation.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Previous experience in hospitality, preferably as a barista, with a strong focus on customer service.
- A Certificate III in Individual Support - Disability or relevant experience in the disability sector.
- Current Food Safety Handling and Responsible Service of Alcohol certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience in providing personal care to individuals with disabilities (an asset).
- Evidence of relevant vaccinations, including flu and COVID-19.
- A Victorian Working with Children's Check, NDIS Screening Check, and Valid Driver's License.
