About the Role

The position of Procurement Business Partner is available in our organisation, where you will play a key role in ensuring procurement practices align with organisational goals.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage contracts and support commercial outcomes. Your strategic advice will be invaluable in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and analysing contract performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Preparing reports and insights for stakeholders regarding contract performance.
  • Assisting with contract variations and maintaining accurate supplier records (e.g., contacts, insurances).
  • Overseeing procurement processes from initiation to contract close-out, ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Providing support for smaller procurement activities, including raising purchase orders and receipting invoices.
  • Developing procurement strategies that align with the organisation's objectives.
  • Assisting in adhering to State Purchase Contracts (SPC) for consistency and compliance.
  • Managing supply chain risks and supporting resilience through governance and best practices.
  • Organising training sessions to enhance procurement skills within the team.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends to optimise procurement processes.
