Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Coastal Professional to join our National Maritime Team in Australia. As a key member, you will work on designing and planning large-scale maritime facilities for various industries including defence, local government, state government, ports, and sustainability.

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience by working on projects from concept designs to construction phase support. This role also offers growth opportunities for your leadership and business development skills as you assist with project management and proposal tasks.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in coastal engineering, including modelling, dredging, or coastal protection, and be familiar with Australian design codes and guidelines. A tertiary degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering is also required.

Australian Government security clearance eligibility is essential for this role.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in designing, evaluating, and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures
  • Coastal modelling software skills (DELFT-3D, SWAN, MIKE)
  • Local government, port clients, and/or Defence sector experience
  • Familiarity with Australian design codes and guidelines
  • Chartered Professional Engineer credentials
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Australian Government security clearance eligibility
