About the Role:The main tasks of this position will be to conduct thorough testing to guarantee that our appliances meet key functionality and safety standards, and comply with technical requirements.
You will work collaboratively with a larger team, but also possess the ability to work autonomously when required.
Thermal safety for electric and gas products according to internal/external standards, including preparation of relevant documentation
Energy consumption
Noise
Cooking performance
Environmental impact
EMC
Components/product reliability/Lifetime
Components performance
Materials (e.g., surface cleanability…)
You will need to provide support to Platform teams & Product Maintenance in relevant testing, validation, and participate in benchmarking activities.
As part of your input, you should be able to provide improvement proposals to Platforms, participate in concept development, and contribute to FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
Timeliness will be critical to support the delivery of assigned R&D projects / new products in collaboration with Platform Leaders and support project Teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
Sound knowledge of engineering concepts and materials
Sound understanding of quality assurance principles
Knowledge of local product approval standards.
Testing methodologies (DOE, statistical methodologies…)
Good written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
