About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at The Benevolent Society. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision to less experienced Occupational Therapists, supporting people with disabilities using an evidence-based approach, and adapting to client needs and their NDIS plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based clinical service delivery, including specialized intervention, assessments, home modifications, and prescription of assistive technology.
  • Lead and mentor Occupational Therapist team members.
  • Provide consultation and support to the wider multi-disciplinary team.
  • Plan professional development in team training sessions.

Requirements
  • AHPRA registration.
  • Current driver's license and willingness/ability to travel to clients.
  • Experience supporting people with disabilities using an evidence-based approach.
  • Capacity to provide clinical supervision to less experienced Occupational Therapists.
