Selective Criteria
Post-graduate qualifications in ultrasound with current Registration with Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) as a Sonographer.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact with a wide range of people.
Ability to provide a full range of general ultrasound exams, including experience in MSK, obstetrics, and interventional imaging.
Ability to work within a team, allocate workloads according to skills and competencies, and participate in the department roster including on-call as required.
Ability to interpret request information, select the optimal protocol, and adapt the protocol to a range of clinical scenarios.
Evidence of ongoing personal CPD, and contribution to supervision or development of others.
Experience applying legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures to medical imaging and the day-to-day operation of an imaging modality to ensure sustainable, on-going service provision.
Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers license and the ability to maintain it.
Occupational Assessment, Screening, and Vaccination against Specific Diseases:
This is a Category A position.
