As a key player in the AFL's community football team, the Coach Education Lead - Northern Territory will play a crucial role in developing and implementing coaching strategies that enhance the skills and knowledge of coaches in the Northern Territory.
About the Role
The Coach Education Lead - Northern Territory will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of coaching accreditation, education, and development programs in the Northern Territory. This will involve working closely with the AFL Coaching team and community football stakeholders to design and deliver programs that meet the needs of coaches at all levels of the game.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement coaching accreditation and education programs for community football coaches in the Northern Territory.
- Work with the AFL Coaching team to design and deliver coaching development programs that meet the needs of coaches at all levels of the game.
- Collaborate with community football stakeholders to identify coaching development needs and opportunities in the Northern Territory.
- Manage and monitor coaching budgets and resources to ensure effective delivery of coaching programs.
- Contribute to key projects within and outside of the core role to support the success of the AFL's community football team.
Our Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced coach educator who is passionate about developing the skills and knowledge of coaches in the Northern Territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of coaching principles and practices, as well as experience in developing and implementing coaching programs. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with coaches, stakeholders, and other team members.
