About Claims Management Roles
We are seeking an experienced Claims Manager to join our growing team. This is a mid-senior level role that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience managing claims within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme.
- This role involves proactively managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs.
- Collaboration with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers, and other stakeholders is essential in creating an effective Return to Work strategy.
- The successful candidate will assist the worker and employer with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations, and ensuring timely access to required services.
In this role, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs.
- Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers, and other stakeholders to create an effective Return to Work strategy.
- Assist the worker and employer with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations, and ensuring timely access to required services.
- Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to legislation or policies while undertaking ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and payments.
Our ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently as part of a high-performing team.
Requirements- Minimum 3 years of experience managing claims within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme.
- Residing in New Zealand is mandatory for relocation bonus eligibility.
- An empathetic approach to customer-centric support is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Able to manage stakeholder engagement effectively.
