Job Opportunity: Vocational Psychologist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of participants as a Provisional Vocational Psychologist.

This role is ideal for a motivated early career psychologist who is enthusiastic about vocational rehabilitation and positive employment outcomes. Based at our office, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise while adhering to ethical guidelines and professional standards.

Your key responsibilities will include assessments, interventions, and reporting, as well as collaborating with employment consultants and external stakeholders to support participant progress.

You will receive regular supervision from a board-approved supervisor, as well as structured professional development and a supportive environment to enhance your knowledge and skills.

About the Role

As a Provisional Psychologist, you will work under the supervision of a registered psychologist, providing vocational psychological services to participants. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and contribute to the well-being of individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality assessments, interventions, and reporting
  • Collaborate with employment consultants and external stakeholders to achieve participant goals
  • Develop and implement effective plans to support participant progress
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
  • Accredited Psychology Degree: 4-year board-approved accredited sequence of study in psychology
  • Supervised Practice: Working under supervision of a registered psychologist
  • Professional Development: Engage in activities to enhance knowledge and skills
  • English Language Skills: Provisional registration requires proof of proficiency
  • Experience working in Employment Services/NDIS environment
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Australian Citizen or Australian permanent resident
  • National Criminal History Check and Working with Children'sCheck
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a My ID with a strength of Standard or Strong
