About the Role

Aurizon is seeking a professional and dynamic individual to fill the position of Facilities Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for operational efficiency, reducing costs through the use of internal and external resources, and achieving goals and targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Efficiency: Achieve operational goals and targets assigned to Facilities Management for health, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Contractor Management: Manage contractors and staff to ensure Facilities Service delivery meets the operational requirements of the site.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with site management, internal, and external stakeholders.
  • Maintenance Activities: Ensure all maintenance activities are undertaken in accordance with Aurizon policies and meet statutory obligations.
  • Financial Management: Assist with the preparation of annual FM site budgets and monitor financial performance to achieve budget FM targets.
About You

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of corporate and/or industrial real estate facilities management experience. They will have a strong understanding of technical corporate facilities-related planning and infrastructure. A Trade Qualification in facilities or a related discipline is preferred.

  • Facilities Management Experience: A minimum of 2 years of corporate and/or industrial real estate facilities management experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of technical corporate facilities-related planning and infrastructure.
  • Qualifications: Trade Qualification in facilities or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Contractor Management: High level of skill in the management of maintenance contractors in the workplace and operational environment.
  • Relationship Building: Proven success in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with site management, internal, and external stakeholders.
  • Financial Management: Proficient in monitoring financial performance and achieving budget.
