At WorkPac, we are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Operator to join our team at Callide Mine in Central Queensland.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a busy coal mining environment, operating a CAT 789 or above. You will be part of a dynamic team and have the chance to develop your skills in a long-standing operation.
Key Highlights:
- Market leading rates - $61.46/hour
- Job Security - Permanent Opportunities available after 3 months on site
- $75 per hour shift bonus for both DIDO and residential workers
About Our Client
Callide Mine is an open-cut coal operation located 120km southwest of Gladstone and 20km northeast of the thriving regional township of Biloela. The operation has extensive recoverable coal reserves and long-term supply contracts in place, ensuring a long-term future.
What Will You Be Doing
In this role, you will be responsible for operating a dump truck in a coal mining setting. You will work a lifestyle roster and have the opportunity to secure casual or permanent roles with WorkPac on commencement.
What You Will Need
- Previous mining experience operating dump trucks with a minimum skill of CAT 789
- You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this
- SSE signed skills list, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
- The ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment prior to commencement
