Emergency Vet Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced emergency vet nurse to join our close-knit team.

The successful candidate will provide nursing care to critically ill and injured patients during the busy summer months, collaborate with our skilled veterinary team to deliver timely and effective emergency treatments, monitor patients closely, administer medications, and assist with medical procedures as needed.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care even in busy conditions

  • Assist with medical procedures as needed
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
  • Previous experience with complex emergency cases
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work across days, evenings, overnight, weekends, and public holidays as part of a rotating roster
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Passion for continuous education and upskilling
