Lead Investigator for Child Protection Policies

This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to the development of child protection policies.
As a Investigations Manager, you will oversee investigations by organisations under the Reportable Conduct Scheme and their actions in preventing and responding to reportable allegations. You will provide strategic expertise and leadership across the Reportable Conduct Directorate, guiding employees within the directorate and promoting best practice.
- BUILD AND MAINTAIN EFFECTIVE COLLABORATIONS WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS.
- MANAGE HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL, COMPLEX AND SENSITIVE MATTERS TO ENSURE CHILD SAFETY IS PROPERLY MANAGED AND INVESTIGATIONS ARE RIGOROUS.
- LEAD AND SUPPORT COMPLEX, SENSITIVE AND OTHERWISE CHALLENGING INVESTIGATIONS AND DISCIPLINARY COMPLAINTS TO OPTIMISE OUTCOMES.
Key knowledge and experience include demonstrated knowledge and experience in the NSW child protection system, the Reportable Conduct Scheme, and best investigative practice. Excellent verbal and written communication, planning, organisational, and negotiation skills are also essential.
